Shipping Policy

IMPORTANT — PERSONALISED PRINT-ON-DEMAND PRODUCTS

All Grand So products are made to order. Your item does not exist until you place your order — it is personalised and printed specifically for you. This means processing time is required before your item is shipped. Please read this policy carefully so you know what to expect.

 

1. How We Fulfil Your Order

Grand So uses Printful as our fulfilment partner. Printful is a professional print-on-demand service that prints, packs and ships every order on our behalf. When you place an order, it is sent automatically to Printful for production. Your item is manufactured fresh for you — it is not taken from a pre-made stock.

 

This model allows us to offer a wide range of personalised products without holding inventory. It also means your order goes through two distinct stages before it reaches you: production and shipping.

 

2. Production Time

Before your order is shipped, it must be produced. Production typically takes:

 

       Standard products (t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, etc.): 2–5 business days

       Some product categories may take up to 7 business days during busy periods

 

Production time is in addition to shipping time. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Irish and Latvian public holidays (Printful's primary EU production facility is based in Latvia).

 

Total delivery time = Production time + Shipping time. If a standard shipping estimate says 3–5 days, your actual delivery window from order date is approximately 5–12 business days.

 

3. Shipping Times

Once your order has been produced and dispatched, estimated delivery times are as follows. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

 

Republic of Ireland: 3–5 business days (standard)

European Union (excl. Ireland): 3–7 business days (standard)

United Kingdom: 3–5 business days (standard)

United States & Canada: 5–10 business days (standard)

Rest of World: 7–21 business days (standard)

 

Express shipping options may be available at checkout for certain destinations. Availability and cost will be shown at the time of purchase.

 

Delivery times may be extended during peak periods (e.g. Christmas, Black Friday) or due to circumstances outside our or Printful's control, including carrier delays, weather events, and customs processing.

 

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the product(s) ordered, your delivery address, and the shipping method selected. The exact cost will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

 

We may offer free shipping promotions from time to time. Any such offer will be clearly displayed on the store and applied automatically at checkout where applicable.

 

5. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched by Printful, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your parcel. Tracking is provided for all standard and express shipments.

 

Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving your dispatch email for tracking information to update on the carrier's system.

 

If you have not received a dispatch confirmation within 10 business days of placing your order, please contact us at hello@grandso.ie with your order number.

 

6. Carriers

Printful selects the most appropriate carrier for each shipment based on your destination and the products ordered. Carriers used may include, but are not limited to:

       DHL, DPD, An Post (Ireland and EU)

       Royal Mail, DPD (United Kingdom)

       FedEx, USPS (United States and Canada)

       Other regional carriers for international destinations

 

Grand So does not control carrier selection. We are not responsible for carrier-specific delays or service disruptions.

 

7. Delivery Address

You are solely responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address at the time of purchase. Grand So and Printful cannot be held liable for orders lost, delayed, or undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you.

 

If an order is returned to Printful as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping. As all products are personalised and made to order, a refund cannot be issued for address errors on the customer's part.

 

If you notice an error in your shipping address immediately after placing your order, contact us at hello@grandso.ie as soon as possible. We will attempt to update the address with Printful before production begins, but this cannot be guaranteed.

 

8. Lost or Damaged in Transit

If your order does not arrive within the estimated delivery window, or arrives damaged, please contact us at hello@grandso.ie within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. Include:

       Your order number

       A description of the issue

       Photographs of any damage (where applicable)

 

We will investigate with Printful and the carrier on your behalf. Where an order is confirmed lost or damaged in transit, we will arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory rights under EU consumer law and our Returns & Refund Policy.

 

Grand So is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier once the parcel has been dispatched. However, if a parcel is officially confirmed lost by the carrier, you will be entitled to a remedy as set out above.

 

9. Customs, Duties and Import Taxes

Orders shipped within the European Union are not subject to customs duties or import taxes.

 

For orders shipped to the United Kingdom, Printful fulfils UK orders from its UK facility (Wolverhampton), which means most UK orders should not attract UK import duties. However, Grand So cannot guarantee this and accepts no liability for any customs charges imposed by UK authorities.

 

For orders shipped outside the EU and UK, your order may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs processing fees levied by the destination country. These charges are entirely outside Grand So's control and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Grand So is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing in the destination country.

 

We recommend checking with your local customs authority before ordering if you are unsure whether import charges may apply.

 

10. Shipping Restrictions

We are unable to ship to PO Boxes, military addresses (APO/FPO), or certain remote locations where carrier services are unavailable. If we are unable to fulfil delivery to your address, we will notify you and issue a full refund.
